zdavim mám problém s nastavením zvukovky resp stím aby jí poznal
podle tohodle návodu sice zvuk funguje(http://opensuse.wikidot.com/dzwiek-realtek) ale nenačte se do databáze ovladačů takže si suse myslí že žádná není nastavená a tím pádem nejde třeba ovládání zvuku a tak :( neporadí někdo?

realtek-linux-audiopack-4.05f.tar.bz2 tam mám už nainstalovanej ale jen při té instalaci to tu zvukovku najde ale nenačte se do databáze ovladačů a pak když zkusím alsaconf tak tam zase není :( je tam jen při té instalaci :( nemůže to být třeba x64 systémem? nebo nedá se natvrdo přepsat? zvuk mě jde jen ho to prostě nezná :(

Co se stane po tom příkazu rcalsasound start?
Zkuste: modprobe -l hdaudio najde to nějaký jaderný modul? Pokud ano, tak dejte: modprobe jmeno_modulu a pak opět zkuste alsaconf
Jinak bude asi nejlepší stáhnout zdrojové kódy alsy a ručně zkompilovat podle návodu.

Před spuštěním konfiguračního scriptu je také zapotřebí ověřit, zda je zaveden modul soundcore (lsmod | grep soundcore), v opačném případě ho zavést ručně.

koukám že jsem asi největší lama co?
Podle tohoto výpisu jako ovladač zvukovky nepoužíváte ASLA ale OSS (viz hdaudio 81428 1 osscore 630400 4 vmix,hdaudio), takže bych zkusil kcontrol(KDE) v GNOME by to mělo být podobné -> Zvuk a multimédia -> Zvukový systém a v záložce Hardware změnit z OSS na ALSA (možná bude potřeba restartovat X server (ctrl+alt+backspace) nebo celý systém). Pokud vám i přes to nebude zvukovna fungovat, zkuste pak tu kompilaci ALSA ovladače.

a postupovat podle návodů (INSTALL) v jednotlivých archívech. Při instalaci alsa-driver proveďte všechny kroky instalace, i když je u nich napsáno, že za určitých okolností se mohou přeskočit.
Nejprve zkompilujte a nainstalujte alsa-driver, následně alsa-lib a na konec alsa-utils. V sedmém kroku instalace alsa-driver se k finální konfiguraci používá alsaconf, toto proveďte až potom, co nainstalujete alsa-utlis.
Pokud se vám při ./configure nebo make nebo make install neobjeví error hláška, pokračujte dál.

Tak jsem to udělal trošku jiným způsobem, Jelikož se mě nedařilo nainstalovat Alsu, tak jsem si nainstaloval OpenSuse 10.3 :) a problém vyřešen :) Moc děkuji za pomoc
Zřejmě při instalaci ovladače ze zdrojových kódů došlo někde k chybě, protože podle tohoto chybového hlášení nemůže ALSA najít potřbné jaderné objekty.
Zluste pouze zopakovat instalaci ovladače pro vaši zvukovku (ftp://ftp.alsa-project.org/pub/driver/alsa-driver-1.0.14.tar.bz2).
